Although Hanoi is extremely busy, loud and crazy. There are a lot of vehicles, but don't be scared of the motorbikes, just go and they will move around you. It is really amazing. One of the very interesting things is that everyone eats outside, and the foods is super delicious!!!!
The old quarter is one of the most ancient place of Hanoi. Walking around and hear the stories of each street is the best way to learn about Hanoi history, culture and people. This is also the place you can find the best Hanoi cuisine.
While the streets are choked with cars scooters and cars, there are enough bicycles and pedestrians to make you feel the whole world hasn't gone completely modern. It is very easy to walk around and navigate, and there are wonderful sights around every corner.
